About Employee Research Data Org Tournament Research
About Employee Research Data Org Tournament Research
The Employee Research Data Org aims to help state and local governments and other public service organizations become better at attracting and keeping talented workers.
Nowadays, governments and public service groups need to find smart ways to manage their money and cut costs. But with an aging workforce and big changes in society, they can't just expect to hire and keep good workers easily. They need to be the kind of employers that people want to work for so they can keep providing top-notch services to the public.
In the past, good pay and benefits were enough to get people interested in working for these organizations. But now, they need to think about what current and future workers really want.
Our Institute stands out because we:
Our Institute has written lots of reports about retirement, healthcare, and workforce issues. We regularly hold online seminars for different groups of people. Every two years, we organize important events. Our staff also speak at conferences around the world to help governments and other public groups learn how to find and keep the right workers.
We put together a new Research Advisory Committee to help us with our research, talking to people, and getting more people involved.
Back in 2007, ICMA-RC (now MissionSquare Retirement) created our Institute to help state and local governments deal with workforce challenges. Since then, we've worked with other groups to do important research on retirement.
We've teamed up with lots of partners and sponsors, including big names like AARP and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, to achieve our goals.
